The Currency Exchange keeps a stock of Papua New Guinea Kina around the Anzac time of year, but it is best to order them in advance if you can – especially if you are travelling with a group. Away from Anzac time we may have a small stock but it would be advisable to order them in advance.

If you are taking a Cash Passport to PNG it is best to load your funds in Australian dollars. Many of the main tourist hotels have an ATM in the lobby. On the Kokoda trail there will be not be any access to ATMs, your guides and tour companies will advise you about the right amount to take with you.
